Following the release of their debut single ‘Love On The Rise’ that reached over 12k streams in one week, Sydney based Blues Rock band The Black Cardinals have returned with a side splitting accompanying clip directed by Kim Quint (Polaris/In Hearts Wake).

Filmed at singer Craig Cassar’s house in Sydney, the clip takes place in a makeshift retirement village in which the residents (The Black Cardinals) are being entertained by a local band made up of members of Sydney rock bands including Fox Company, Starcrazy and Bad Moon Born. After taking some special blue pills the elderly guests are transformed and  burst into an all out rock performance.  I guess we all need a little help from time to time, huh?

The Black Cardinals talk about ‘Love On The Rise’’:

“Love On The Rise is about living a second life which is not necessarily like your everyday life. When you’re in that mode which is fueled by adrenaline and life, things can quickly escalate and your confidence levels are off the charts” – Craig Cassar (Singer)

To coincide with the release, the band will be playing a single launch to a limited seated audience at Frankie’s Pizza.

‘Love On The Rise’ will be available worldwide on Friday September 25th
