Just one week out from their ‘Alive At The Drive-In’ shows Hockey Dad has re-released a handful of car passes for punters to seek refuge from the apocalypse.
Originally dated for July 31st, the seriously spooky event was forced to postpone at the hand of mother nature which saw torrential rain flooding out the Bulli Showground. An emergency broadcast urged fans to take shelter in their homes and join the Windang locals for a one of a kind ‘Alive At The Theatre’ which clocked up 150K views on YouTube in three days.
Natural disasters and pandemics have been no match for Hockey Dad’s ‘Alive At The Drive-In’ and the duo still stand by their promise that these shows will be like no other, with fans being treated to the band’s latest album in full as they hide away in the safety of their cars with audio blasted via FM radio broadcast.
Having had an additional 2 months to work away at the old Axe and Tubs Hockey Dad are ready now more than even to hit the stage for a one of a kind live experience, with additional surprises not yet announced that will need to be seen to be believed.
Joining Hockey Dad’s Zombie Army will be Wollongong’s The Pinheads who have been holed up in ‘The Shed’ working on their next body of work including new track ‘Pump It Up’ a rendition of Elvis Costello’s, as part of Farmer & The Owls ‘Family Values’ compilation release.
To wrap up a perfectly spooky evening epic surf doco Rage 3 will be gracing the Bulli Big Screen featuring clips filmed over a year throughout Australia and Indonesia.
