As the U.S. death toll from COVID-19 surpassed 200,000 and experts are warning that the toll could nearly double by the end of 2020, Fear No Empire shines a light on the selfishness of anti-maskers with their new song and video “Super Spreader,” out today.

“Super Spreader condemns the selfish actions and twisted rational used by some people who politicize wearing masks during a global pandemic rather than follow clear scientific evidence and common sense to protect not only their lives, but the lives of everyone they come into contact with as well” explains frontman Tabatabaee.
COVID-19 is now one of the leading causes of death in America, which has reported more than 6.8 million cases. Fear No Empire has a simple yet powerful message with an accompanying video featuring real-life footage with an array of anti-maskers, Karens, and poignant imagery. Unfortunately, shortly after the video went live youtube removed it. “To our surprise and great disappointment, youtube has taken it upon themselves to censor our video for “Super Spreader”. Clearly, they don’t want our message to be seen, but they can’t stop it from being heard” explains Fear No Empire.
The pandemic has ravaged families and communities and wrecked economic dreams in the U.S. and around the world. Leading experts have said many of the U.S. COVID-19 deaths likely would have been prevented by widespread use of face masks and social distancing. Potential vaccines are currently being tested, but even if a successful candidate emerges, it could take months or even years for it to become widely available. So, “Wear a fucking mask you dumb fuck,” says Fear No Empire.
Throughout the songs on their upcoming debut, out on October 28, Fear No Empire voice their anger and frustration with the world around them and stand up against racism, oppression, police brutality, voter suppression, anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination and violence, and all forms of selfish privilege and social injustice. Fear No Empire has come together with a powerful message and a call for change.
