Purveyors of dirty martinis and ritualistic rock’n’roll PAGAN return from the shadows once again to unveil their new single ‘Wine and Lace’. Recorded at Black Lodge Studios with Mike Deslandes (Coerce, The Nation Blue), ‘Wine and Lace’ follows their last single ‘Good Grief’ and arrives mere weeks beforePAGAN make the pilgrimage with Wollongong hunks Totally Unicorn on their national Dream Life Tourthis September and October.

With a dance-floor worthy backbeat, gloomy hooks and fierce, guttural power led by frontwoman Nikki Brumen’s chilling roar, ‘Wine and Lace’ chronicles the bizarre and horrific events surrounding the Lawson family massacre last century. On Christmas day of 1929, Charles Lawson brutally murdered his wife and six of their seven children before taking his own life. Their bodies were discovered lying in a row, each with arms crossed and heads lying on a rock, like a pillow. They were wearing the very same outfits purchased for a family portrait that immortalized the Lawsons on film, just days before they were met with a gruesome death.

PAGAN are taking ‘Wine and Lace’, ‘Good Grief’ and the rest of their unapologetically punk rock spells across the country with Totally Unicorn next month on their national Dream Life Tour. These shows will make for one of the year’s hottest, wildest and raunchiest parties, and it’ll be the first chance for many of you to view and worship the prowess and swagger of PAGAN’s ritualistic performance. Grab your dancing shoes, iron your best turtleneck and put the Campari on ice: you’re all fucking invited.
