HE IS LEGEND is back and it’s Legendary! The rock/metal/thrash/math rad band from North Carolina took a little break in 2009. But with a freaking amazing new album “Heavy Fruit”, HE IS LEGEND are coming back to Australia for Soundwave, and front dude Schuylar Croom is rather happy about that.


“We’re super stoked to come back. It’s been on our list, you’re just so damn far away. It’s hard to just go, you’ve gotta have a good reason. We’d come every year if we were asked.”


Their first and only other time here was with I Killed The Prom Queen and The Amity Affliction, and they had a nice time.


“I really enjoyed the culture of the people. Everyone was beautiful. The babes were babeing, there was just good vibe everywhere, we were treated really nice.”


And this time for Soundwave? Schuylar is very excited:


“I’m looking forward to some of my all-time favourite bands playing for kids we haven’t seen in quite a while, and making some new fans hopefully. It’s an honour to be even in the same sentence as some of these bands, Marilyn Manson, Soundgarden, Slipknot, Faith No More, Smashing Pumpkins, Bayside, Antemasque are playing; a ton of bands that are amazing, I can’t even go down the list… it’s surreal. I’m just excited that we get to play with them and then I get to go head bang around at a festival for a bunch of days and party listening to dope music.”
