he East Coast of Australia will be infiltrated by Brisbane’s Tempura Nights’ jangle pop for a few special shows before the year rounds out.

Tempura Nights will kick off the tour supporting one of their favourite bands from this year, Bully in Brisbane before heading south, hitting Bone Soup and Future Popes’ (yes us!) End Of Year Party and The Curtin Hotel in Melbourne, then back up north to Tokyo Sing Song and Newtown Social Club in Sydney.

The tour comes between two successful single releases, Mr Tone & Studville, which have voices in Australian music like Indie Shuffle, Pile Rats and Channel V raving, and their impending EP release in the new year.

Tempura Nights have been churning out their garage rock milkshakes with sprinkles of jangle pop since beginning as more of a joke to blow off steam from their other bands (Go Violets, Major Leagues, The Good Sports).

If you haven’t yet checked out their latest single, ‘Studville’ hit play now – they continue to mix influences from snotty punk to ethereal pop and defiantly challenge song structures; they cut all the fat on ‘Studville’, pushing out only the necessary verses and instrumentals; it only clocks in at one minute thirty, but they sure as hell make sure each second counts.
