Brisbane/Byron Bay three-piece Moreton continue to establish themselves as one of the most unique acts in the Australian music industry today with the release of yet another unnerving and gorgeous video for their latest single, ‘Specimen.’

Directed by Bryn Chainey, the shadowy clip once again sees the band’s front woman, Georgia, take centre stage in a lead role – the camera following her as she tries to escape shadowy figures, ominous lights, and menacing vehicles through the bush at night. It’s a dark and confronting clip – the perfect complement to the song’s eerie pacing and tone.

Speaking about the song and the video, Georgia says, “Specimen is a significant track for us. It says a lot about where we’re coming from and where we’re going to – both musically and conceptually. The song is about scrutiny and the lenses we use to view ourselves versus others, and so Bryn and I felt like it was right to put me as the singer under the scrutiny of the lens and the viewer!”

The band is currently on their Specimen tour, which will continue with a show in Melbourne at The Toff  Thursday night, and finish up at Brighton Up on Saturday, November 12.
