Human Buoy unveils their debut music video, and brings the psychedelic summer groove of new single, ‘Fields’ to vibrant life! Band members are depicted in the ultimate kaleidoscopic funky party, directed and filmed by Illusory Films in Perth.

McDonald says, “I used to come up with weird and longwinded titles and came across one called “Roll the grass over the hill and make me a field”.  It stayed in my head while I drove to Fremantle and I voice-memoed what would become the vocal part on my phone. I recorded the vocals with the onboard mic of my mac-book in my girlfriend’s backyard and that’s why you can hear birds and wind-chimes in the background.”

Human Buoy were nominated for ‘Most Popular New Act’ at this year’s WAM awards and performed live at the WAM Saturday spectacular.

The band’s debut album ‘Animation Station’ will be released in 2017 and features guest appearances by Ariel Pink, Nick Allbrook (Pond) Ben Smith (Blud) and Shiny Joe Ryan.
