After the success of last year’s ‘Tearing Up the Lawn’, Mia Dyson continues the auto theme with the release of ‘The Passenger’, a turbo charged cover of the Iggy Pop classic.

As a child Mia was introduced to Iggy Pop’s demigod-like voice through her parent’s record player. ‘The Passenger’ evoked for her a mysterious night ride through an unknown vivid city. All these years later when she was asked to sing the song for a new commercial for Volkswagen Australia, she had some trepidation about reinterpreting such an iconic track, but taking that chance, she was thrilled to find her voice resonating with ‘The Passenger’
