New Year, New Music! Secret Sounds are so excited to welcome to Australia for the very first time two of 2k16’s most internationally talked about acts! Hailing from LA, alt-rockers LANY have joined forces with London five-piece Pumarosa for a couple of co-headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Both acts have had massive 2016’s, releasing new music and playing alongside some of the world’s biggest acts. Los Angeles-based trio LANY was formed in 2014 by three friends: Paul Jason Klein, Leslie Priest and Jake Goss. The trio have released three EP’s, including their latest Kinda, which includes the smash hit ‘WHERE THE HELL ARE MY FRIENDS’.   
 
It’s two years since Pumarosa formed, but you’d be forgiven for thinking they hadn’t spent a day apart. Front woman Isabel Muñoz-Newsome and drummer Nicholas Owen started the band by chance. A friend was eager to start a new music project and invited the two to come and play, but said friend never showed up. Instead, the pair were left to lay the foundations of what would become Pumarosa.
