Ahead of the release of their Split 7” with Cayetana next Friday, CAMP COPE are psyched to announce a four and a half date East Coast run this February and March with Melbourne post-punk trio CABLE TIESjoining them for three shows. With stops together in Hobart, Adelaide and Sydney, CAMP COPE will also play a free all ages show at the iconic NGV in Melbourne as part of the NGV Summer Sundays and a secret house show in Newcastle with Jen Buxton.

Having just played two sold out shows with Modern Baseball to a more-than-warm reception (seriously…watch this Insta vid), Camp Cope are gearing up to play a national slot on Laneway Festival which will see them share stages with A.B. Original, Julia Jacklin, White Lung and more on stages around the country. They are releasing a split 7” with Cayetana (US) next Friday 20th through Poison City Records, which features their new single ‘Keep Growing’ on Side A and a brand new re-work of one of Georgia Maq’s solo song ‘Footscray Station’ on Side B.

CABLE TIES take the 3 minute punk burner and stretch it past breaking point. With just a 7” and a Split 7” (with fellow Melbourne band Wet Lips) under their collective belts, the three-piece led by Jenny McKechnie were hand-chosen to open for indie-rock heavyweights The Kills last year and played a show-stopping set at Meredith Music Festival last month. On their two-track debut 7” released last year, Who the Hell noted Cable Ties are so early into their careers as punk prodigies, but they’ve already delivered searing belters that are capable of shaking the walls of whatever abode they’re blasted in… strong and wild, with an energy you feel instantly.”
