Sometimes you just need a nice slap in the face, and thankfully the Dave Orr Band is here to help with their latest single ‘Got To Know’; a thumping, burning, foot to floor slice of irresistible bluesy rock joy. The track is the latest taste of Dave’s new album (due later this year) and follows first single ‘Champagne’ that was release late 2016.
“Lyrically, ‘Got To Know’ is a short urgent snap shot into the car ride of man in the throws of heartbreak and jealousy,” said Brisbane guitar legend and lead, Dave Orr.
“After hearing second hand about what his lady has been up to behind his back, he needs to find her himself, to seek the truth face to face.”
This stompin’ slide track was whole lot of fun to record, I remember we had a dialled Fender Tonemaster firing down a staircase, and it was loud!”
While Dave is known as one of the country’s premier blues players, the new song shows he certainly ain’t no one trick pony.
