Following last month’s show at the legendary Hollywood Bowl, Bloc Party today debut the video for their new single ‘Stunt Queen’. Directed by British photographer and filmmaker Rachael Wright, the video was shot during the band’s North American Summer tour, including headline appearances at Lollapalooza and The Governors Ball.

“Well we wrote ‘Stunt Queen’ and a batch of new material when we came to Australia to play Falls festival at the start of the year.” Says Okereke “we had long finished writing HYMNS and were aching to work on some new material. if I remember correctly I showed Russell the chords of the song during the sound check at the forum in Melbourne and he came up with the loop during the sound check of the Enmore in Sydney.”

The band has today announced a new show at Manchester Albert Hall. The band’s shows at London’s prestigious Roundhouse on 10 and 11 February sold out earlier this month in a matter of hours, with the first date selling out in less than ten minutes.
