Last night we saw triple j premiere Parkway Drive’s second single Crushed on Good Nights on triple j and now it’s time to get Crushed by the brand new video.
Winston McCall explains Crushed, “Crushed is a continuation of the musical evolution of Parkway Drive. Lyrical this song deals with the concept of power and control that is the basis for modern society. We live in a time when the lives of the many are lived at the will of the few. Filter information and deceit are used as controls while we are told to fear and persecute rather than understand and sympathise. We have let the balance of power slip so far that a godlike will is able to be imposed upon the masses with little to now way of breaking the cycle.”Parkway Drive has spent the past decade at the forefront of heavy music worldwide with a sound so uncompromisingly ferocious and intense.

Crushed is taken from Parkway Drive’s highly anticipated fifth album, Ire out September 25 via Resist Records supported with a national Australian and New Zealand tour with special guests Thy Art Is Murder, Memphis May Fire and The Word Alive.
