The first annual Sydney Film Music Festival has been announced, in what will be a unique film and musexperience kicking off on October 13 at Sydney’s ICC Theatre. Across three nights, audiences will have a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience a selection of cinematic masterpieces, with their iconic scores performed by a live symphony orchestra.
A celebration of music and its role in cinema, the Sydney Film Music Festivalcreates a unique three-night experience with tickets available separately or to all three events.
“Music provides the emotional heartbeat of film and to bring together the two worlds to create an even greater experience for the senses is a real privilege,” said curator Scott Mesiti. “We look forward to this becoming an annual event to bring together the music and cinematic worlds in a celebration of emotion and humanity through the mediums.” |
