Adelaide duo TOWNS’ have released their new single, ‘Safe To Stay’. The track is accompanied by a 90s-inspired music video which premiered via triple j Unearthed this week, clocking up over 20,000 views in the first day alone. ‘Safe To Stay’ comes ahead of the band’s upcoming national tour in support of Sydney rockers Dear Seattle, kicking off in Brisbane on Friday 17th May.
“Safe to Stay is a song about being oblivious to change until it’s too late to actively take it all on,” drummer Dan Steinert says. “It’s about taking the time to reflect on the world around you and changing as it changes too. The world around us can often shape who we are and what we believe in. I guess Safe to Stay is just a gentle reminder to everyone, that change is inevitable but coming to terms with it is the first step to growing.”
Watch out for the dynamic powerhouse that is TOWNS, stopping at a town near you soon:
