Hermosa Beach Summer Series, presented by KROQ is back this weekend for 2 more epic days of music, craft beer, food trucks, health and wellness activities, movies on the beach and much more.

The popular FREE family-friendly community event, run in large part by South Bay locals themselves, returns to the sands of the quintessential Southern California beach town on Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 24/25).

To better accommodate any concerns of the community going into weekend two, South Bay local and chief executive of 5B Artists + Media Cory Brennan tells local paper The Beach Reporter, “We’re working with the community as much as we can. We want to encourage people to come to the South Bay and enjoy local restaurants and establishments. We’re hearing what the community has to say and doing the best we can to adjust to (any) concerns.”

This weekend, the Beer Garden has reduced its footprint to allow for more community parking and is open from 2-8pm with special guests appearing throughout the day, including DJ performances by Sonik DJ of KROQ & JACK FM.

The exclusive wine partner for the 2019 Hermosa Beach Summer Series is Caduceus Cellars/Merkin Vineyards, the award-winning winery founded by Maynard James Keenan, frontman of acclaimed rock bands Tool, A Perfect Circle.

Attendees will also encounter food experiences from South Bay local Black Flour Crepes, Brew Wings, Dogtown Dogs and Triple Threat.

Additional on-site experiences include daily Health and Wellness activities including Soho Morning Yoga, Sexy Brand Beach Tennis, and Coast Fitness workouts.

Also taking place will be Movies on The Beach (presented by Hermosa Beach Friends of the Parks) on Saturday August 24, as well as activations from Arrowhead Brand Mountain Spring Water, Beach Cities Rover, Blenders Eyewear, BOS Ice Tea, Coors Light, Essentia Water, Firestone Walker, Keller Williams, KROQ, L.A. Libations, Old Bull Lee Shorts, Vital Proteins, plus an on-site general store with official Hermosa Beach Summer Series merch.

Community beach cleanups will take place each morning, presented by Heal The Bay with support from Fusion Academy.
