Following the release of the band’s first single ‘Meat Hook’, follow up ‘We Don’t Need You Anymore’ and more recent 5-star track ‘Cholesterol Heart’, Sydney-based punk band These New South Whales share new single and fleshy video for ‘Space In Hell’. The track comes off the band’s debut LP release titled You Work For Us out this August 25.
Taken off their debut album set for release in late August, ‘Space In Hell’ is a stripped back, honest Australian punk song. Brash and caustic, the track calls to mind the simple yet staunch stylings of early American punk with an unmistakeable Australian charm and energy.
Lead singer, Jamie Timony AKA The Workhorse says of the track, “’Space In Hell’ is our experience of privilege and how it has a tendency to create a veil of laziness and apathy and subsequent guilt and shame. The guilt and shame can help you into a mindset where you actively become a part of the solution but it can also drive your head further into the sand.”
‘Space In Hell‘ will be available to buy/stream here.
Fans of These New South Whales have the chance to see the band’s explosive live show across their upcoming You Work For Us Australian Tour this October. See dates and details below and listen out for supports soon.
