With a psychedelic sound conjuring imagery of summer and 7” records, Melbourne-via Mullumbimby rock band The Lovely Days are creating a melody-driven soundscape that nods to superheroes like Tame Impala, ELO and Alabama Shakes.

They emanate musical vibes from the 60s and 70s, not to recreate a golden age but as the raw material to invent a new one. In a modern world of fear, distraction and fakery, the songs of The Lovely Days are an antidote; a joyful respite of hope, sincerity and musical fun.

Their EP ‘Arms Wide Open’ (out today!) features the new single ‘Mornington’, mixed byEric J Dubowsky (Flume, Chet Faker) who has brought forth the lush harmonies and contemporary vibes that are fast becoming the signature of The Lovely Days.
The boys set off around Australia in June to launch the EP with four shows across three states.

June 14: Bar Open, Fitzroy VIC
June 17: The Exeter Hotel, Adelaide SA
June 22: Oxford Art Factory (Gallery Bar), Sydney NSW
June 23: Vic on the Park, Sydney NSW
