Australia can’t get enough of seductive LA-based collective The Internet, as the band today announces that all five of their Australian headline shows have completely sold out.

Kicking off their East Coast tour for capacity crowds at Melbourne’s 170 Russell on Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th July, The Internet will play back to back shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July before returning to Melbourne for a third and final sold-out 170 Russell show on Sunday 31st July, added to satisfy unprecedented demand.

Since their debut Australian visit in February this year, which saw the R&B neo-soul six-piece play St Jerome’s Laneway Festival along with sold out headline shows at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel, The Internet has solidified their status as one of the most refreshing live acts in the world, adding a Grammy Award nomination for the 2015 release ‘Ego Death’ to their list of achievements. On return to Australia, the band will be fresh from anticipated festival sets around the world, including Sasquatch Music Festival, Bonnaroo and Fuji Rock Festival in Japan.

London-based multi-instrumentalist, DRELLER, will support The Internet across all five Australian dates. With debut single ‘One Night Stand’ immediately gaining traction at triple j last year and follow-up ‘Control’ currently picking up spins, DRELLER’s layered atmospheric beats will provide the perfect audience-warmer for music lovers this July.
