Following 10 years of live music and laughs out in the rolling hills of South Gippsland, The Hills Are Alive Music and Comedy Festival are delighted to announce that they’re bringing the party to the big smoke this September. HILLS CITY will see the Farmer join forces with live music legends the Corner Hotel for a massive public holiday car park party in Richmond on Friday 28th September, AFL Grand Final Eve!

The all-day affair will feature everything you’ve come to know and love about the festival. A line-up of local musical stars handpicked by The Farmer will be leading the entertainment charge on the day with the likes of party machines The Bennies, the incredible BATTS, and the anthemic PLANET, plus a whole lot more bringing the noise to the outdoor stage. Once the sun has set you’ll be able to disco till you die, with a silent disco soundtracked by some of your favourite Hills DJs helping you shimmy into the sunset. In true Farmer fashion, the day will also feature a stand up performance by comedian Danielle Walker.

Stay caffeinated thanks to Hills favourites Roaming Poppy Coffee, fed by the fine folk at Mr Burger food truck and hydrated by a supergroup consisting of both the The Hills’s and the Corner’s trusty crew of pint pourers.

With old friends and new fans welcome alike, Hills City will be bringing the party from the barnyard to the back yard and you’re all invited but please note that numbers are strictly limited, so get in quickly! Proudly supported by Jack Daniels and Mountain Goat.

Pop down to your local op shop and support those legends, as the encouraged dress theme for the day will be ‘op shop formal’. So go grab those bargain glad rags and don your finest!
