‘Mixed Tapes’ is the first taste of the The Go Set‘s seventh studio release, the double EP ‘Of Bright Futures’ ‘…and Broken Pasts’.

For lovers of the Irish revelry of The Pogues, to modern day incarnations such as the Dropkick Murphy‘s, or the early seventies punk of The Clash – The Go Set have always ridden a fine line between raucous, revelry and intimate story telling. 

Recorded and produced by the band independently in rural Victoria, this release showcases The Go Set in both its music characters across two EP’s.

‘Of Bright Futures’ features seven tracks of blistering punk rock, whilst the second EP ‘…and Broken Pasts’ features an intimate acoustic/folk vibe showcasing the band’s story telling.

Nostalgic themes, rousing chorus, and punk rock energy – this is The Go Set in all its revelry and character.
