n exciting news just announced, Perth rockers The Faim have been added as the main support act for 5 Seconds Of Summer’s mammoth 2018 Australian & New Zealand tour. The Meet You There tour will roll through huge venues in August, starting in Sydney and hitting Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. It’s a triumphant return home for both bands who have been making serious waves overseas. The Faim cannot wait to share the stage with 5SOS, who have become friends and mentors along the way.

“Touring with 5 Seconds Of Summer is a dream come true” says frontman Josh Raven. “We saw them play in our hometown of Perth in 2015 and now, only three years later, we’ll be sharing the stage with them in amazing venues across Australia and New Zealand. We can’t thank the boys of 5SOS enough for this opportunity. We’re so excited to share our music with brand new audiences plus play to our most dedicated fans who have been there from the very beginning.”

It’s a serendipitous pairing given their anthemic new single ‘Summer Is A Curse’ was co-written with 5 Seconds Of Summer’s Ashton Irwin. This hit in the making has already surpassed 1.8 million streams and just crashed into the Top 40 airplay charts in Germany, where the band will play 8 new shows over the coming months.
