It’s as if the clouds have parted to deliver ‘ChasingTheSun’, the scorching debut single from Brisbane’sThe Buzzing Towers

Their no-nonsense sound wastes little time before breaking the mundane, with lead guitarist Nelly Kumta‘ssearing riffs rivaling the best of ’90’s rock. Fierce drums and an anthemic chorus sustain the vigorous sonic rock punch, with each beat and chant carrying the gloom of the 9-5 grind further away.

Vocalist Zac Robertson explains that a sunny day on a normally heat deprived London inspired the track,“My coworker and I had to man the bar whilst all the fun was happening on the other side. “Run with me” she said jokingly, suggesting we leg it away from the sluggish responsibilities of our pub grind and treat our vitamin D deficient skin.”

The brown snake has been a breeding ground for many pivotal rock bands over the years, and The Buzzing Towers are no different. Despite this being their debut single, the proficiency of their sound shines through like no other. Backed by a hefty rap sheet of local and interstate supports, BugsRAAVETAPES,Seaside & BlueVelvet to name a few, the four-piece have well and truly left their mark on Brisbane’s tight music scene.

With plenty still up their sleeves, The Buzzing Towers are determined to bring the heat with them right into Summer, so watch this space!
