The Brazilian hardcore/punk/progressive trio Malvina has released the new album ‘Hybrid War’. Mixed and mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room Studios, and distributed worldwide.

By means of the concept of “Hybrid War”, theorized by author Andrew Korybko – which reveals the new kind of approach and tactics of US imperialism, much more based today on indirect attacks and psychological operations through social medias, think tanks and so-called social movements to erode a Target-State – the band denounces the rolling coup in Brazil from the riots of 2013, passing through 2016 impeachment of Dilma Rousseff and the Olympic Games’ legacy in Rio, the criminalization of the Workers Party, the use of Lawfare by the Judiciary and the rise of neofascism, which together made possible the election of Jair Bolsonaro.

The album has been praised by hardcore/punk critics over the world for its musicianship and its political content has been contemplated by the public.
