Melbourne’s The Beautiful Monument are a locally-brewed force to be reckoned with. They are releasing a haunting video for their track ‘Sins’, the final track from the band’s album ‘I’m The Sin’ released in February this year.
The group injects listeners with instantly relatable lyricism that levitates around themes of psychological strains, the pains and perils of broken relationships and the incessant impact of various forms of abuse.
Their recent release of their debut full-length album ‘I’m The Sin’ saw them share the stage with international acts such as I Prevail (USA), Architects (UK) and Slaves (USA). The band is currently geared up to head out on a national tour with Tonight Alive (AUS) as main support in early November 2017.
The video for Sins follows the story of the one you love most turning out to be the one causing the most damage to you. The video depicts Lizi (singer) falling back into the same pattern of torture through different times. You see the doctor giving Lizi life but later attacking her behind a mask/façade before his true identity is revealed as being the one who had previously stitched her together.
