They may be young, but Canberra act Teen Jesus & The Jean Teasers are a force to be reckoned with. After packing out their BIGSOUND performance at new Brissy venue The Outpost to the point of security cutting the line, the 90s grunge revivalists are today thrilled to announce they have joined the Falls Festival lineup for the full run over New Years, including Lorne, Marion Bay, Byron Bay, and Fremantle.  

The news comes ahead of the band’s headline hometown launch show for their latest single ‘See You In A Bit (I Still Care)’ at The Polo in Canberra on September 28, and upcoming appearances at local festivals Stonefest and Spilt Milk, plus Lost Paradise festival.

Joining the Falls Festival lineup is the band’s biggest milestone to date, and as lead singer Anna Ryan so eloquently puts it: “OH BOY OH BOY, I AM SO EXCITED THAT I MIGHT VOMIT BUT THAT COULD ALSO BE FROM THE LACTOSE I JUST CONSUMED IN MY BREAKFAST.”
