After releasing a series of delectable new tunes last year including their debut EP ‘Alert!’, Sydney’s self-professed funk punks Borneo today released a follow up with their harmonica-heavy, quirky new single ‘Jesse’. The track was produced and engineered by Nick Franklin and is lifted from their forthcoming sophomore EP ‘Rebel Mindtricks’, out 23rd February via Habit Music Company.

Talking about the track, singer/guitarist Nick Colbey and writer of ‘Jesse’ says the song “is a simple tale of a coming of age adventure about my brother, leaving the nest to see the world we so long to explore after school finishes.

 

A string of east coast tour dates will support the extended release in early March.
