Brisbane rockers Sweater Curse today return with the music video for latest single ‘Can’t See You Anymore’. The trio will be kicking off their single tour in Brisbane next Friday 13thJuly, followed by shows in Melbourne, Sydney, and Newcastle.

“The filming process was great – Jen and Shortstack Productions are both amazing to work with, super professional and fun,” says the vocalist Monica Sottile. “The extras were all friends and so the staging of all the scenes felt a little surreal and I think this translates appropriately to how the video looks! It was all filmed at my parents’ house, and we all had a big family lunch together in the middle of it.”

Unabashedly dorks Sweater Curse came together quickly when members Chris, Rei and Monica started captivating Brisbane’s local scene with their charm and evocative, jangly melodies. Writing songs that have been described as ‘slightly depressing but still groovy’ and ‘introspective, slightly sparkly indie-rock’ the band carved out a niche for themselves with a throwback feel.

With only two tracks released, the band have landed themselves on sold out line-ups with Camp Cope, Julia Jacklin, These New South Whales, Rolling Blackouts C.F., Jess Locke and Jen Cloher.
