SKEGSS are stoked to announce their brand new single ‘Spring Has Sprung’ will be out on all platforms next Friday 9 December. As premiered on triple j’s Good Nights with Linda Marigliano last night, ‘Spring Has Sprung’ is the first track taken from their forthcoming Holiday Food EP, out in February 2017 via Ratbag Records.

‘Spring Has Sprung’ is the perfect track to roll us into Summer, beers in hand – 3 minutes of up-stroke guitars and whirling leads, with singalong vocals documenting all the highs and higher highs that come with the joys of the hotter months. Their DIY and self-producing approach to SKEGSS being SKEGSS bleeds into their sound; raw, gritty rock’n’roll with lyrics that any 20-something will be able to rattle off and relate to.

As with most SKEGSS announcements comes news that they are hitting the road again – following their last Australian tour which saw the trio sell out every single show (including their Melbourne stop where the sheer amount of positive energy in the crowd left one publicist and four bartenders utterly speechless) the guys will be travelling across Australia hitting major regional and coastal towns throughout January, and heading over the pond to tour New Zealand for the very first time. SKEGSS will also be performing at Party in the Paddock and Mountain Sounds Festival in February.
