Fremantle quartet San Cisco have a special treat for fans today in the form of brand new music. Without further ado, the band would like to introduce you to new single ‘When I Dream’. Receiving its world premiere on triple j Good Nights last night, the song is quintessential San Cisco – a breezy upbeat pop jam with hooks that will dance around your head for days. Frontman Jordi Davieson explains how the song came to be..

“We have been writing ‘When I dream’ for a few years now. The early demo’s came from a period where we were super infatuated with the west coast sound of the 1970’s, listening to a lot of Fleetwood Mac, Doobie Brothers, Eagles etc. Lyrically it is one of my most honest and personal songs and it feels great to finally release it into the wild.”

Released today, ‘When I Dream’ is the perfect way to usher in spring and coincides with San Cisco’s mammoth co-headline tour with Ball Park Music and Ruby Fields – kicking off tonight at Festival Hall in Melbourne and tomorrow at Riverstage for Brisbane Festival opening night.

‘When I Dream’ is the first new piece of music to land from San Cisco since 2017’s ‘The Distance’. The band have also released a series of photos from the studio this week teasing more new music could be just around the corner.
