The legendary Sugar Man has returned and Australia cannot get enough! To meet overwhelming demand, Frontier Touring are delighted to confirm that Rodriguez will perform second concerts in Brisbane and Adelaide on his hotly anticipated Australian tour this November and December.
Tickets to these new shows, taking place at Brisbane’s Lyric Theatre Qpac on Friday 11 November and Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday 30 November, are on sale from 10am local time next Monday 25 July. Rodriguez will be joined by very special guest Archie Roach for both these performances.
Adding to the excitement, Australian music legend and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Russell Morris will be joining the tour as Rodriguez’s special guest for his Perth show at Kings Park & Botanic Garden on Saturday 10 December.
The legendary self-taught guitarist’s love affair with Australia is no secret; Rodriguez first toured our shores in the late 1970s, long before the rest of the world caught onto his talent thanks to Malik Bendjelloul’s Oscar-winning film Searching for Sugar Man.
