Radolescent are elated to share the debut album, ‘Prehab’ today. The album shines a light on the Gold Coast four-piece as crafters of music that treads the line between fun-loving and sentimental.

Radolescent’s ‘Prehab’ showcases tracks that take inspiration from the band’s late teens and early twenties. Exploring each member’s lifestyle on Queensland’s Gold Coast, the release takes its listener through reflections on all things from a love of the city’s unique nightlife to the adverse reactions of the band’s late-night antics and their stance on widely unwanted development by local council.

“Growing up on the Gold Coast was definitely an interesting experience,” explains lead vocalist and guitarist Isaac Atkinson. “From the outside the Coast gets a reputation for being a somewhat glamorous town, full of rich beautiful people and bikies. For us though, it was the underside of the Gold Coast that we were a part of, the filthy parties, scary backstreets and unsavoury charters were something we came to love.”

In celebration of ‘Prehab’s’ release, Radolescent will be touring the East Coast over June and July, including a performance at Brisbane’s Dead of Winter Festival. If you can’t get to the Gold Coast, the sound of the Gold Coast will come to you, so raise a tinny and get your mosh on to Radolescent.
