With their hugely anticipated new album on the way in 2017 – the band’s first new music since 2013’s critically acclaimed sixth release, …Like Clockwork – Queens Of The Stone Age make their welcome return to Australia and New Zealand this July.
And fans can’t wait to catch them live, snapping up tickets immediately after going on sale this morning. Frontier Touring have advised that three of the band’s headline shows – Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne – are now officially sold out! There will be no additional dates.
There’s still a chance to catch QOTSA live, and it’s a good one: Darwin Convention Centre on Sunday 16th July, the band performing in the Top End for the very first time ever. Josh Homme can’t wait, confessing to Hot100 Breakfast last week:
“I’ve been actually trying to do it the last couple of times. We made it. Touring Australia is part of our family – investigating the entire continent. Darwin is one of the few places we haven’t been able to get to. It’s a chance to explore the place that is a country I love, a no brainer for me. It’s high time I got close enough to a croc. I’m genuinely excited, I’ll see you all there.”
Darwin, don’t miss out of seeing one of the most powerful hard rock bands of the last two decades in this truly epic show! Tickets on sale now.
