Australia can’t get enough of Queens Of The Stone Age who are bringing their Villains World Tour to Australia and New Zealand this August/September. To meet overwhelming demand, Frontier Touring has announced that Queens Of The Stone Age will perform second and final shows in both Sydney and Melbourne, with the first Sydney show sold out.
The newly-announced Sydney show will take place on Saturday 1 September at the Hordern Pavilion. Melbourne also gets a second gig, on Saturday 8 September at Margaret Court Arena.
Tickets for both of the new shows will go on sale at 12noon AEST on Wednesday 9 May, with a Frontier Members pre-sale beginning tomorrow (Tuesday 8 May) – see frontiertouring.com/QOTSA for all the details.
With blues maestro C.W. Stoneking already announced to join the Villains AU/NZ dates as special guest, QOTSA frontman Josh Homme has yet again proven his ‘honorary Aussie’ status by hand-picking the AU shows’ opening act – Sunshine Coast legends The Chats(all AU shows ex-Bris).
