Joy Divison’s debut masterpiece Unknown Pleasures, with its iconic Peter Saville album art is regarded as a pioneering and influential post punk album. Produced by Martin Hannett it featured guilt-ridden, romantic and claustrophobic tracks such as ‘Disorder’, ‘She’s Lost Control, ‘Shadow Play’ and ‘New Dawn Fades’.
Closer the second and final album for Joy Division was highly acclaimed, and is often cited asJoy Division’s finest work. Featuring the tracks ‘Isolation’, Heart and Soul’ ‘Twenty Four Hours’, Closer was vital, impossible to resist or ignore. A flawless expression.
