There’s no denying Sydney band PARTICLES certainly know how to craft a hooky as hell rock song! With their debut single, ‘Tennis’, picked up and premiered by The Music, the single carves its own path with some dizzying guitar work and audacious drumming assaults combined with the unmistakable vocal of Dan D’Arcy to produce a song that demonstrates all the grace and cohesion of a no frills rock song .

Recorded and produced by Tony Buchen (Montaigne, The Preatures), the band’s sound is reminiscent of, and rooted in modern experimental modern rock, hard rock and garage rock with subtle electronic flavours flowing throughout. With an epic debut film clip to follow very shortly created by Particles, Produced and Directed by Dan D’Arcy and shot by Luke Walker Productions, fans are in for a treat with this superb visual !

“The main gutiar riff was from a dream, I just woke up and I could remember it and it was repeating over and over in my head. The lyrics are about love that isn’t reciprocated and then the realising that you are set free because if it’s not reciprocate it wasn’t worth it in the first place and you don’t feel so bad, using the analogy of the game tennis” – Dan D’Arcy

2017 promises to be a MASSIVE year for Particles, with an EP on the way, writing, live shows across Australia and overseas.
