Melbourne based post-rock four-piece Outloved have arrived on the scene with guns blazing in the form of their debut single “Dying To Leave“. Taking their mega tune into the wilderness, Outloved have also accompanied their single with a music video that compliments their grand entrance into the world.

Vocalist Jaydon Colvin explains that “the meaning behind Dying To Leave in its simplest form is to check on your friends and family, they may be wandering off down a path of negativity and need your help to get through and out of it.

The band took to Melbourne’s Redwood Forest to film their music video with cinematographic help from Ionei Heckenberg and Albert Lamontagne and utilised the eerie environment to portray the songs narrative with a character that flees from overcoming their issues with a friend, to running deeper into the woods until they’re ready to be found and to face their emotions. Mix the narrative in with a few flares, a band play through and bright lights and you’ve got an entrancing watch from start to finish.
