There may only be a few months left in the year, but Spacey Jane are determined to make the most of each remaining moment. Hot on the heels of their high rotation single “Good For You”, the Fremantle four piece have a new single to round out what has been an epic year. 

As contagious as its namesake, “Head Cold” has that trademark Spacey Jane breezy-pop-with-deep-lyrics combination.Singer Caleb Harper says “it maps out the 15 delirious thoughts that passed through my head in a fever state – it’s about tangled thoughts, tangled head phones and sweaty sheets.”

Having recently finished an entirely sold out lap of Australia, Spacey Jane have already announced another tour, playing some of their biggest headline shows to date in Australia. To top it off, they’re heading to the land of the long white cloud for the first time, playing Auckland and Wellington.

Joining them for most of the Australian leg will be highly esteemed SASAMI (US) – a recent Domino signee and certified legendary figure in the Los Angeles music scene, and Newcastle slacker-rock heroes VACATIONS.

The last six months has seen the group net significant airplay and quickly become a festival favourite. This year, they’ve played Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival, BIGSOUND, Wave Rock Weekender, Yours & Owls and have been recently announced on Laneway 2020. And to cap it all off, they’ve just been announced as a J Award nominee for Unearthed Artist of the Year. 

“Head Cold”serves as another taste test of Spacey Jane’s debut studio record, out sometime in 2020.
