Nashville rockers Leaders And Kings have signed with Standby Records and have just released their self-titled label debut, which is available on iTunes andGoogle Play. The band says, “We are so proud and excited to be a part of the Standby Records Family, we are looking forward to a magnificent 2016. We can’t wait for the fans reaction from our new album, our sound has evolved into something we are very proud of.” Check out a promo video here. Established in 2013, founding members Casey Self, Johnny Reeves, Nick Monroe, and Weiss met while hanging out in downtown Nashville, just after they decided to make the move to Tennessee to pursue their music careers. After talking to each other about their plans in Nashville, the guys soon figured out they had all originally moved to Tennessee from North Carolina and only lived about an hour or so apart from one another. A few months later, the band entered Omni Sound Studios to record their first album with producer Voytek Kochanek (Ozzy Osbourne, Queensryche), and immediately began booking shows at well known venues in Nashville like 12th & Porter and The Rutledge, thus helping them develop a great start in Music City and establish a loyal following. The following year, the band went back to Omni Sound Studios to record their second album “Never Seen the Day.” In July of 2014, Leaders And Kings performed on the Ernie Ball Stage on Vans Warped Tour and later went on to become the only rock band to perform during CMA Fan Fest in downtown Nashville. The band’s new self-titled Standby Records debut was recorded at Studio D with co-producers Don DeBiase (Modern Day Escape, Black Veil Brides) and Jeremy Stempert (Black Veil Brides, Light the Fire). |
