Muules are today dropping the filmclip to their new single ‘Deeper’ ahead of their release shows in Brisbane, Ipswich and Sunny Coast. The track (inspired by Nine Inch Nails’ Downward Spiral and The Fragile-era, and late 90s Filter, and mixed and mastered by Clint Vincent (Guitarist for Dead Letter CircusRival Fire and producer for AerialsLike Thieves) is available for streaming and purchase on all platforms at http://ffm.to/muules_deeper right now.

Bassist Rhys Fox says that the self-produced and edited video “…is a commentary on how modern artists, no matter their level, are feeling like their every move has to be documented in order for their fans to feel engaged. The stress of having to come up with content consistently to keep up with what appears to be ‘competition’ (when that competition is most likely themselves) and how it can become distorted. It’s hard to do art for art’s sake now.

To celebrate the track’s release, the guys are performing a string of release shows for the single in South-East Queensland, presented by Straight Outta Nambour – Friday July 26 in Ipswich venue Banshees Bar and Art Space, with Baltimore Gun Club – and then Saturday July 27 at the iconic Brisbane venue The Zoo alongside Pretty Cash and Nonberk. Then, the three-piece will be performing a sneaky instore performance at Wax Buildup (Maroochydore) on August 10.

Muules’ ‘Deeper’ single is available for streaming and purchase on all platforms at http://ffm.to/muules_deeper and tickets for their release shows can be found at their website http://muulesband.com
