Middle Kids have added two new shows to their Australian tour dates in April, with initial shows in Melbourne and Sydney selling out.  It will the first opportunity for local audiences to see the band play live following their huge 24 date US tour, which includes a show at SXSW and opening for Cold War Kids.

Middle Kids have just released their debut self-titled EP, which features new single NEVER START, along with YOUR LOVE and EDGE OF TOWN.  It was the release of single EDGE OF TOWN in May last year that caught the ear of Sir Elton John, as he declared himself a fan of the song, added it to his Apple Music playlist and aired it on his Beats 1 radio show.  Triple J placed the song on high rotation, while in the US, the song has had airplay support on over 30 AAA/Alt stations. To date, ‘Edge Of Town’ has accumulated over 3 million streams on Spotify.

New single NEVER START is already receiving strong airplay support and the band looks set to make their debut on the national ARIA charts next week.  They delivered a totally captivating performance of EDGE OF TOWN on CONAN in the US last week, view HERE, and following their own Australian shows will open up for Ryan Adams on his Australian tour in May.
