Sydney’s Mercury Sky’s EP ‘Infra’ drops this Friday and their tour kicks off same day. To celebrate, they are today dropping the second single from the EP – ‘No True Scotsman’. The new track is a expansive, heavy, complex track and indicative of the growth and maturity of musicianship and songwriting on the EP.

‘Infra’ is out this Friday and can be pre-ordered at iTunes and the tour starts this Friday as well. The tour takes in Gosford, Newcastle, Wollongong, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane from September to November.

Infra’ pushes Mercury Sky’s own personal, musical and emotional boundaries, tackling topics such as social media and modernisation, political correctness and counterculture, existentialism and loss. Having also taken on a large portion of production duties themselves in conjunction with Dave Petrovic, this EP finds Mercury Sky drawing upon a wider range of experiences and lessons to provide a more diverse spectrum of songs that embody their evolution to date and further cement their place as a band to watch in the progressive scene.
