Back in 2015, the world was introduced to pop sensation, Maggie Lindemann when she released her very first single ‘Knocking On Your Heart’. By the following year, with her release of ‘Pretty Girl’, Maggie broke through the charts in both the USA and Europe amassing a huge social media following on Instagram, YouTube & twitter.

Fast forward to September 2022 and Maggie Lindemann’s brand new album SUCKERPUNCH is released, quickly becoming a favourite with fans & followers alike. We were lucky enough to head along to the album launch at Los Angeles’ picturesque Moroccan Lounge to celebrate the release of the 15 track record. Being a tiny capacity venue, the show sold out in minutes – and with the attendees packed like sardines, it was certainly a night to remember. We got to hear every delicious new song live from ‘take me nowhere’ through to ‘cages’ – with Maggie stating that this was the “longest running show” she had played so far in her career.

The crowd went wild, singing along to every single song from the album. In full voice for ‘she knows it’ – the entire audience echoed the lyrics back to Maggie & her band on the stage.

Nothing short of an amazing night, the sensational show drew to a close with the heartfelt and sadly relatable track ‘how could you do this to me?’ followed by the IDGAF power anthem ‘cages’ which most certainly reinforces the album’s very title; SUCKERPUNCH.

It was great to experience a night that truly embodied both girl power & the spirit of Los Angeles thanks to both the amazing talent exuding from Maggie & her band and the incredibly friendly, cool and zany staff at The Moroccan Lounge.
