Hot off the heels of their signing to UNFD, US metalcore giants Like Moths To Flames have dropped a soaring new single ‘Smoke And Mirrors’. Balancing melodic clean vocals along with staggering guitar licks, pummelling drums and heavy-hitting bass, ‘Smoke And Mirrors’ intimately explores the tangled web that mental health issues can create. Like Moths To Flames vocalist Chris Roetter shares that lyrically, the track picks up where previous track ‘Nowhere Left To Sink’ left off.

“It captures the same vibe for me lyrically,” he says. “It’s about the inner struggles of dealing with mental hurdles and obstacles that feel unavoidable, while ultimately being at fault. The song is a great blend of old and new Moths, capturing a lot of the old sound while still showcasing some of the other elements we are trying to implement within the music.”

Across their four-album deep career, Like Moths To Flames have garnered international praise for their ability to conjure anthems that both amp up crowds and evoke individual emotional responses from listeners. Evidenced by the millions of streams accumulated by tracks including ‘Bury Your Pain’, ‘No King’, ‘The Worst in Me’ and ‘You Won’t Be Missed’, and tours with bands like All That RemainsThe Devil Wears Prada and Memphis May Fire, LMTF have cemented global recognition in the heavy sphere over the past decade.

After announcing their new label home in UNFD in September and revealing single and video ‘All That You Lost’, the four-piece headlined across Canada with support from Polaris and Afterlife, and are now supporting Wage War throughout the US.
