Landing in the country later this month for her first ever Australian shows and on the eve of her album release, LA native K.FLAY today reveals that local songstress LUPA J will support on all headline dates around the country.
Local songwriter and producer, Lupa J, has cut her teeth supporting the likes of Grimes, Sarah Blasko, Tegan and Sara and more. She will add K.Flay to the list this April/May, hitting the road off the back of the release of her latest single, ‘Put Me Back Together’. “Simply put, it’s intelligent, engaging pop music at its best”, said Indie Shuffle.
In addition to playing Groovin The Moo festival dates around the country, K.Flay will take in Brisbane’s Woolly Mammoth on Tuesday 2nd May, followed by Melbourne’s Howler onThursday 4th May, Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday 10th May and Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Thursday 11th May.
Every Where Is Some Where, the second album from the alt/hip hop artist, will be released this Friday 7th April. It’s on this LP that K.Flay pushes deeper into introspection while adding an element of political commentary. The result is her most deliberate and dynamic work yet, a thrillingly vital album that channels the frenzy and anxieties of today’s world.
