In addition to an already announced Melbourne show at the Corner Hotel on Wednesday 4th January and appearances at Southbound Festival, Beyond The Valley Festival and Field Day over summer, Norway’s HIGHASAKITE today reveal details of an intimate Sydney show, to take place at Oxford Art Factory on Tuesday 3rd January.
Local songstress BEC SANDRIDGE will join Highasakite on both headline dates. A nomadic pop/punk logomaniac, Bec Sandridge has a guitar swagger reminiscent of St. Vincent, and the delivery of new wave icons like Deborah Harry and David Byrne. She has toured with the likes of Andy Bull, Owl Eyes, Passenger and more, and with a brand new single ‘High Tide’ just released and gaining traction at triple j, is an artist on the rise.
