Adelaide melodic metallers Heartline today share their explosive new single “As The Crow Flies“, featuring none other than alternative powerhouse David De La Hoz (Wither/Belle Haven). “As The Crow Flies” also marks the first single to be released from the forthcoming EP, ‘I Call For The Sinking Warmth‘, available on Friday, March 26.

The track narrates a struggle with vulnerability and being unable to reach out when in need. The band highlight the theme, explaining that: “The single demonstrates a young person finally confiding in their long time friend and confessing that they are not okay.

“This is something a lot of young people who struggle with mental illness go through – the struggle to admit to vulnerability. However, the twist visually is that he never opens up and is once again inside his head, trying to bring himself to do so.”
