Sydney underground bruisers Hand Of Mercy and the Gold Coast’s favourite sons Prepared Like A Bride have teamed up for a national run of dates across June and July that will see PLAB call it a day once the tour ends.
After 6 years playing the world over, the guys will be going out on top and in style.Joining the tour for its duration are Sydney purveyors of ‘east coast feels‘ Vices and Melbourne metalcore monsters Glorified.
While those four bands alone are enough to satiate even the most rabid of live music appetites, there will be some appetisers served up on the form of local supports for most of the shows. Hometown heroes Broken Scarlet will kick things off at the All Ages show at Adelaide’s Enigma Bar and Advocates have scored opening duties at the Melbourne All Ages at Arrow On Swanston and will deliver a polished sledgehammer to the skulls of all who stand in front of them.
Autumn will reward the Sunday evening early arrivers to Magpies with some heartwrenching emotional hardcore while in Newcastle Blind Oracle will open the Cambridge Hotel show with some of their patented prog-death core.
Friday night in Sydney will see Final Frontier bringing their hardcore tinged metalcore to the Red Rattler, there will be a frantic sense of energy and chaos in the air from the get go.
Wrapping things up in PLAB’s home state, Apate will get the Brightside moving with their down-tempo, progressive hardcore (maybe throwing in their Katy Perry cover) and bidding PLAB a fond farewell at The Lab, Daybreakers will get the All Ages crowd vibed up with their melodic hardcore and set the tone for one hell of a farewell show.
