Melbourne’s CAMP COPE are stoked to release the video for ‘Done’, the opener from their acclaimed self-titled debut album, out now on Poison City Records. Filmed at the Crowbar in Brisbane at their sold out album launch last month, the video for ‘Done’ speaks volumes for the inclusive, safe environment thatCAMP COPE work for at each of their shows, and while most are remembered for the performance itself, on this night it was the crowd’s solidarity that was the stand out, as detailed in punter Sommer Tothill’s recount of the night that has gone on to be shared over 100 times.

On the events that unfolded that night, singer Georgia Maq says, “The 1:33 mark in the video captures me calling out the aggressive men who were “just trying to enjoy” themselves, while compromising the safety, wellbeing and enjoyment of those around them. Rest assured, as long as we’re on stage and have a platform to have our voices heard, we will always call out this behaviour.” The bond between crowd and band reached new heights that night, with the front row a proud line of women exchanging hugs after their set for standing a solidified, united front.
